Trek stache 8 hardtail1/15/2024 Ive ridden an Sworks Fatboy tubeless weighing about 22lbs and it was fun but still a lot of rubber on the climbs. I really dont think the Farley would change much. The alloy-framed rig seemingly appears very similar to a StacheTreks trail hardtail making use of 29+ tires, a 120-millimeter boost fork, and a short, elevated drive-side chainstay referred to as Midstay by Trek. Then you could also run regular 29r wheelset and tires if you want to race or anything. You would save a ton of weight with those wheels and lighter tires. I would get a nice wheelset like THIS and run the Stache with 27.5 plus wheels. Similar diameter to regular 29 or 26x4 but much lighter weight and just as much traction. Personally I think 27.5+ is the sweet spot. You could buy it with the 29+ wheels and see how you like it. The good thing about the Stache is its current versatility. Before they moved to 29+, it was one of the most fun hardtails around. BUT I am a big fan of the Stache in general. " Every cyclist has something to teach and something to learn." The Full Stache 8 takes a trail-oriented 130-millimeter chassis and slides the humongous hoops underneath it. We assumed a full suspension would follow, but that would take some doing on Trek's part. On the other hand, be generous with upvotes. Trek has been a believer in 29 Plus since they began development on the Stache hardtail. Do not downvote opinions just because you disagree with them.
